Classification of Lime Kiln Equipment,Lime kilns can be categorized based on their structure, application, and energy source:

   By Structure: Variable-diameter rotary kilns and constant-diameter rotary kilns.

   By Application: Cement rotary kilns, ceramsite sand rotary kilns, kaolin rotary kilns, lime rotary kilns, etc.

   By Energy Source: Gas-fired rotary kilns, coal-fired rotary kilns, and mixed-fuel rotary kilns.

(1) Variable-Diameter Rotary Kiln

A rotary kiln with varying diameters at the feed and discharge ends, typically differing by approximately 30 cm. Compared to the traditional constant-diameter kiln, it offers advantages in energy efficiency and higher productivity. However, its manufacturing is more complex and demanding, requiring more advanced equipment and processes.

(2) Constant-Diameter Rotary Kiln

A rotary kiln with a uniform diameter from one end to the other. As a common and widely used type, it has evolved into a standard industrial solution over the years. While simpler to manufacture than variable-diameter kilns, it generally consumes more energy. Nevertheless, it delivers better performance and higher output compared to traditional shaft kilns.
